I want a M&M Sorting Machine.

M&M Sorting Machine

Do I really need a M&M Sorting Machine?

To tell the truth, I doubt I’d use it more than once and wouldn’t have a place to put it. Well, I sorta have a place.. right here on my blog. So I got my wish LOL

Sure, M&M’s, Skittles, Reese’s Pieces, and other colored are delicious and all, but sometimes they just taste better when separated by color. M&M sorting machine. A high torque motor rotates a plate that sends M&M through a hole one at a time. As the M&Ms fall an iPhone distinguish the colours. The iPhone communicates with an Arduino via a bluetooth board, and the Arduino then uses a relay to fire off electromagnet controlled gates to send the M&Ms into the correct chute.
