Doing this Warren style means I take five minutes to open a program I’ve never got around to learning, trying 4-5 ideas and putting out something that will work until I think of something better.
And of course, two hours sharing what I’m up to on Social Media.
The tweet will appear in a sidebar sometime soon, so here’s another lesson in promotion today.. my Facebook post to attract interest in DailyWarren that turned into some heartfelt gratitude for people who make a difference in my life and helped lead me to this project:
Kevin Nations reminds me often not to settle for anything but the best. When you do, some people won’t like it, many want you do discount your best features to fit their mediocre view of the world. Kevin teaches us we are worth more when we share our best selves.
Partnering with Steve Wiideman and Alan Bechtold I watch people that do something very well and have gifted me with “I don’t do that” comments when I try to lead them down whatever path hits my brain at the moment.
And Brett Bumeter keeps me working on an area that has been my bliss for most of my life. Creating content and sharing experience. Brett has been in the world of #podcasts since the beginning and we done a few things as a hobby. Which got me to the #podcastmovement event a couple weeks ago.
Sitting there in Dallas, I got thinking about what would be a lot of fun. The tweeting, promotions, sharing and collaborating I do boiled down to a daily podcast where I can spend a few minutes listing the best things I’ve learned in the past 24 hours.
I’m not much for shiny sites and perfect grammar (I suppose everyone knows that). So I made a site tonight that is ME. Tons of stories with information you can use to get better results in what you do and insider things I learn from doing a lot in social media content marketing everyday.
As usual, I didn’t bother hiring a team and polishing things. True to my own style, you can see a 1/4 finished design that will become the best I’ve ever done.. just not tonight. (http://DailyWarren.com/) Instead, I wrote two posts, Shared tweets and links to ways I’m USING what I know to build a community and have a lot of fun.
I stopped (again) to come show you my 5 minute ametuer logo. The name won’t change, but I’m open to your thoughts on the #brown.. I don’t know where that came from.
